The Artist
Growing up in a working-class immigrant family of five, money was tight. As the middle child, my parents couldn’t afford many toys, so I turned to creativity to fill my time. I used crayons, markers, pencils, and paper, and that’s where my love for art began.
As I got older, my perfectionism made me shy away, afraid my work wouldn’t be good enough. But no matter how much I pulled back, I was always drawn back to create.
Now I am learning to embrace the process and focus less on the outcome. Life isn’t just about achieving goals—it’s about the journey, the growth, and the moments along the way. I am learning to grow into the best, kindest version of myself while enjoying the creative process wherever my curiosity takes me.
